Estancia La Península is one of the most beautiful ranches in Patagonia thanks to its incredible surrounding nature. It is only accessible by boat, which makes the ranch an undisturbed and peaceful place for both visitors and animals. By having both the sea and the land we have a great diversity of the nature, vegetation and animals. You will experience and learn about life at a Patagonian ranch: how we train our sheepdogs, how we shear the sheep and get to know about the whole process, how we quality test the wool and see the end product. Furthermore you will try a delicious Patagonian lamb barbeque made the traditional way with traditional side dishes. We invite you to come here and enjoy our beautiful nature and be part of our vision: to get one of the best experiences during your time in Patagonia.

Activities you can enjoy at the ranch:

Horseback riding: Our peaceful white Criollo horses, a Patagonian breed, will carry you safely through our surrounding area to explore of our different vegetation like la pampa, the lenga forest and along the coastline of canal Señoret. Afterwards we pass by an important historical site of the native Kawesqars before heading back along the coast to observe birds.

Four-wheel drive: From the ranch we go to the top of the hill Cerro Ballena. During the first part of the route we will cross a typical ñirre forest where a great variety of birds and rabbits live. Then we pass another type of forest where coique and cinnamon abound and the creeping plant chaura dominates the environment. Here we have the first stop where you can see the Ballena River. We continue to the top of the hill where you will get an amazing 360-degree view of the fjords and the mountain range.
